This is one magnificent ride especially now with the leaves changing. Started in town (Breck) and then headed up the paved Boreas Pass Rd to the Boreas Pass trail head where the road turns to dirt and the incline is very gradual for the next 6 miles to the top. Start this ride early and you are sure to see wildlife and also avoid the cars driving by dusting you. Top is beautiful and the decent is a blast down into Como and the old rail yard.

***Did this as a combo with Red Hill and Hoosier Passes. Awesome triple with a decent lunch at the Brown Burro in Fairplay.

I have been up to the top of Boreas from the Breckenridge side twice in the past few days. Snow is clear to the top and the riding is nice. Extra nice piece is the road is still closed to cars right now. So get on up there and give it a ride!
